Welcome to Barcode Scanner. AI Insights ("App", "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using this mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service
Barcode Scanner. AI Insights is a mobile application that allows users to scan product barcodes to obtain information about products, including country of origin, product details, and AI-powered recommendations. The Service includes both free and premium subscription features.
3. Subscription Terms
3.1 Subscription Plans
The App offers the following subscription plans for unlimited access to full product information and AI recommendations:
- Monthly Subscription: $4.99 per month with a 7-day free trial
- Annual Subscription: $14.99 per year (no free trial)
3.2 Free Features
Without a subscription, users can access limited product information. Full product details and AI-powered recommendations require an active subscription.
3.3 Payment Terms
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
- For the Monthly plan: payment will be applied to your iTunes account at the end of the 7-day free trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends
- For the Annual plan: payment will be charged immediately upon subscription
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- The renewal cost will be the same as the initial subscription price unless otherwise notified
3.4 Managing Subscriptions
- You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your iTunes Account Settings
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds will be provided for unused portions of a subscription period
3.5 Free Trial
- The 7-day free trial is available only for the Monthly subscription plan
- Free trial is available only to new subscribers
- If you cancel during the free trial period, you will not be charged
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will automatically be charged for the subscription
4. User Obligations
When using the App, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when required
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Not attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service
- Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or any systems or networks connected to the App
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Sergiy Kurash and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from the use of the App will be accurate or reliable
- The quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through the App will meet your expectations
- Product information, including AI recommendations, will be completely accurate, as this information is obtained from third-party sources
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted to or through the App
- Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the App
8. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Analytics and Services)
- Mixpanel (Analytics)
- AppHud (Subscription Management)
- AdMob (Advertising)
These third-party services have their own terms and conditions and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Apple Terms
For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication
- These Terms of Use are in addition to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA)
